The fruits grown on local farms are strictly controlled to maintain the highest quality, taste, and safety throughout the entire process of being served to consumers around the world. We are fully equipped with a cold chain system and product history tracking system and we are constantly striving to improve quality by continuously trying and reflecting on new things through active communication with producers.

TASTE

The goal of Sumifru is to grow fruits with the best taste in harmony with nature and to provide the best products that meet consumer expectations. As such, Sumifru is operating its own R&D laboratory in the production area, where various research and development for various breeding studies for safe products of different taste and quality, organic fertilizers and methods to improve farming methods are conducted.

ENVIRONMENT

It is Sumifru’s natural duty to establish a safe production system to protect the global environment. We are carrying out various environmental protection activities through the Go Green campaign by creating a farm environment that coexists with nature, developing farming methods using organic fertilizers, blue crates, and planting trees.

International Certifications

Sumifru has obtained international certificates for facilities and farms from various international organizations. These certificates signify Sumifru's commitment to key issues such as agricultural management, sanitation and environmental protection.

Global Gap

The excellent agricultural product management system is a system that secures hygiene and stability of agri-food and enables consumer to know mangement matters by intensively managing hazardous factors such as pesticides, heavy metals, and pathogenic micro-organisms in the production and supply process of agricultural products from farm to table.

Rainforest Alliance

The Rainforest Alliance is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) with a mission to create a world where people and nature are in harmony. Rainforest Alliance Certified farms must meet stringent environmental, social and economic standards, and only products from farms that meet these requirements can bear the Rainforest Alliance Certified credential.

HACCP

HACCP (Food Safety Management Certification Standard) is a sanitation management system to prevent biological, chemical, and physical hazards from mixing or contamination of food at each stage from the production of raw food materials to consumption of the final consumer.

ISO 14064-2:2006

ISO 14064-2 is an 'international standard on greenhouse gas' established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and is 'principles and procedures required to implement greenhouse gas reduction projects'. It is certified to companies that they have reduced greenhouse gas emissions through monitoring and verification by international safety evaluation agencies.
